As you know, Google Search Engine (by Google Inc.) is most popular in the world these days. And Yahoo, MSN (Microsoft Network), Ask Network and etc. are also popular search engines not only in the U.S. but also in the world internet market.

  • The below chart is comparison of, or about How much percentages Search Engines Take in the online search market of the U.S.” or put it another way, it might be the Volume of Searches (percentage) by Search Engines” or “Serch Engine Rankings” or the Percentage of Search Engine Being Used”. comScore released its monthly qSearch analysis of competitive search engines such as Google, Yahoo, MSN, Ask and Time Warner Network.

  • Google obtained almost 50 percents (exactly 48.3 %) of the U.S. search market. Yahoo placed the second with 27.5 %, followed by MSN (10.9 %), Ask (5.2%) and Time Warner (5.0 %) in March 2007 (Figure 01).

By the comScore qSearch, the ranking of the search engines of the U.S. maintains the standing and keeps not that big difference - Google gained 1.4% more in April (Figure 02), comparing with previous month in the search engine market that including famous search engines listed above. Google still leads the search engine market.
